Flooring Removal

CCC offers quick and efficient removal of most floor coverings on concrete slabs. Our ride on flooring removal equipment allows quick turnover of large commercial areas.

Most common types of removals:

  • Glue
  • Mastics
  • Mortar
  • Carpet
  • VCT
  • Ceramic Tile
  • Epoxy Coatings

By removing the existing flooring we can prep the exposed surface to receive new coverings or install our C3 Diamond Floor. CCC’s fleet of industrial floor grinders, ride-on tile machines and scrapers save time on your construction schedule for floor removal and surface preparation.

Surface Prep

Why do you need surface prep? It is one of the most important aspects when it comes to putting in a top-quality floor. Surface prep is the process of removing current coating or flooring which prepares the base layer for a new floor. When you take over an industrial company or building, a remodel is often needed. It’s common that floors will need to be completely replaced.

How It Works

When completely replacing a floor, the first step is to remove the current floor. After this, the concrete slab has to be properly groomed for installation and preparation for the new floor. Once those steps are complete, it’s time to place your new floor!

When is it time to get new floors? One indicator that it is time to get a new floor is when you notice your carpet or floor covering is damp, warped or failing. This is a safety issue; people can slip on the floor or even develop respiratory problems due to mold. There are two possible reasons for this: condensation and the rising water vapor. Condensation is common with frequent temperature changes. Rising vapor water occurs because concrete has micro pores which allows vapors to migrate to the surface.

Replace your old, dirty and worn out floor coverings with clean and energy efficient polished concrete. C3 Diamond Floor can be installed on almost all existing concrete floors no matter what condition they are in.

If you have an outdated facility or are renovating an existing space we have the solution!
