We recently finished up a project at Lueder Service Center. Lueder is a fleet service located in Omaha, Neb. that services and repairs many different types of vehicles and heavy equipment. Below are some of the details about the project and how it ended up turning out!
When starting this project, we began by repairing the concrete flooring that had already existed. We added joint sealant to places where the concrete had begun to crack. Joint sealants are used to get the concrete flooring repaired in a quick manner, as well as helps keep the entire floor durable and in place.
After adding joint sealant to the existing concrete, we then went on to prepare the concrete for the epoxy coating by polishing the floor with a grinder. This helps create a smooth, level surface!
After the flooring was polished, we sealed the concrete floor off by adding a coat of solid colored epoxy! Epoxy flooring was the perfect choice for this project, as it is durable enough to endure all of the wear and tear that comes with repairing vehicles and construction equipment! Likewise, epoxy flooring is also very easy to clean up. As you can imagine, a repair service center expects spillage on their floors on a daily basis.
