At the end of last year, we finished up a project at the Home Depot in Council Bluffs, Iowa. This was one of our favorite projects yet that turned out fantastic.
When we began this project, Home Depot asked up to remove some tile that had been placed in hallways and office rooms. Floor removal is one of the many services we offer, so our professionals knew exactly what they needed to do to make this process go smoothly.
Once all of the tile was removed, we then began to prep the existing concrete for polishing. As we can see in the photos below, after removing the tile you could still see the outlines of each piece. We fixed this by grinding the entire floor, giving the existing concrete a level and smooth surface that was ready to be polished!
After prepping the surface, we added our polishing coat that made the floors shine bright! Our C3 Diamond Floor process allows for us to install the most durable, eco-friendly polished concrete floors on the market! In this project, we used a cream grade finish with medium to high reflectivity as you can see in the photos below.
